My Chrome Apps
by JustBolger
I’m very new to the whole Chrome Apps thing, but they are handy! Currently, I just have three useful ones. (Webmaster Marci, champion of the internet, definitely showed me the light here.)
AdBlock: Holy crap, yes! I don’t see anymore ads. Period. Get this, and your web-life will become 6X better.
Buffer: As in bufferapp.com. The website lets you schedule a queue of tweets (or Facebook updates) that will post at certain times. It’s pretty cool so far. I get to have an online presence even while asleep, but it’s probably better for more professional types of situations. Anyway, the app make a button in your toolbar, so you can start a buffer-ed tweet with a shortened link to the page you’re on – super quick and easy.
RSS Subscription Extension: I’ve always struggled with Google Reader, but I think this will finally tip the scale. This adds a button to your toolbar as well, but this will subscribe you to the page your on for the sake of your Google Reader. Then Bam! No more missing updates on that page or having to worry about checking individual blogs or whatever daily.
Try ‘em out! Also, suggest some to me please :)

I keep hearing nothing but good things about the AdBlock.
Looks like I’ll have to switch (back) to Chrome… and it’s still installed!
It’s worth every moment – like some kinda magic for sure.
