I like horror.

I’ve dabbled in two things that might fall under that category this week: Cabin in the Woods and World War Z.

Cabin in the Woods was just as awesome as everyone told it would be. It has easily surpassed both Scream and Zombieland within the genre of fun horror flicks for me.

It’s what Severance, Feast, and especially Cabin Fever all wanted to be. Cabin Fever, the closest comparison, was really bad; if you want to see an awful version of Cabin in the Woods, check that one out. Read the rest of this entry »
